Mock Strawberry is a non-native, invasive perennial plant found in much of Virginia. It is in the rose family and has yellow flowers and small red fruits. Mock Strawberry was introduced to the United States as an ornamental flower. It is native to India, China, Japan and Indonesia, and its scientific name indica means "from India".
