Oriental False Hawksbeard is a non-native invasive plant in parts of Virginia, including Northern Virginia. It is native to eastern Asia and now can be found in every continent north of Antarctica. It is in the aster family and produces yellow flowers. Oriental False Hawksbeard can grow in a variety of disturbed habitats, such as roadsides and lawns.
